On these tapes the reference is given in the SOP where when a SDA minister begins to speechify on political questions his credentials should be removed from him. It was between meetings there in Portland last Sabbath that I asked you the question of "Bill, how do you justify talking on the political question when Ellen White says that silence is eloquent and that a ministers credentials should be jerked"? Your first response was a question back to me. "Did Ellen White say that?" Then your reasoning was away from sound principles to that of the earthly origin, back to the vomit of the mother church teaching that allows their minister the freedom to speechify on politics and their repeated memory work of the seminary teachers. Such training, the foundation is laid deep by the planning of a mastermind, but it will all crumble in the very near future. There may be still time for some to get back on the foundation that 2Tim. 2:19 tells about. "Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure".

In your eleven o'clock sermon you tell of studying from the indexes of Ellen White where she applies correctly Joel 2 to be during the 7 Last Plagues after the saints are sealed & 4 winds are allow to blow, yet you then begin immediately to justify current events from the news headlines & the old "Spotlight" articles as being the teaching of the bible. No, Bill, this is leaning on mans wisdom which is building with hay & stubble. Why not lay your foundation as instructed? "A storm is arising that will wrench and test the spiritual foundation of every one to the utmost. Therefore avoid the sand bed: hunt for the rock. Dig deep; lay your foundation sure. Build, oh. build for eternity." 5T 129
Many scattered-fragmented-shepherdless people out there are searching for answers from ministers to assist them over difficult portions of God's Word, when in reality they are standing in direct opposition to God's word. "If men would but take the Bible as it reads, if there were no false teachers to mislead and confuse their minds, a work would be accomplished that would make angels glad and that would bring into the fold of Christ thousands upon thousands who are now wandering in error." GC 598
You tell of receiving a letter recently of a home in Oklahoma [where you have previously spoken] w~1ere the family have recently begin to observe the feast days. We both know this is in direct opposition to God's Holy Word and the SOP, yet the people setting in the pews are so worked up on hearing their respected ministers talk & speechify on politics, that like Eve in the garden, they desire further exciting subject to tickle their fancy. Now who is to blame for this? (See Ezekiel 34).
Bill, it is now time for the Bible chapters that truly apply to the future, like Rev 8,9,10,11 & Daniel 12 to be restored to their rightful position where inspiration has correctly placed them contrary to your leaning on mans teaching. My prayer is that Titus 3:10 will never apply to you.
Many ministers like you have labeled me "a futurist" with a curl in their voice to fragment the unstable, but my only concern is that my teaching corresponds to the Heavenly instruction.
Have you forgotten that--"Nothing so offends God as an act that injures the influence of those who are doing His service. He will call to account all who aid Satan in his work of criticizing and discouraging." 6T 42.
I am also aware that "every new truth has made its way against hatred and opposition." GC 609
