Revelation For Children's
Lips To Proclaim
Introduction
"In the Revelation all
the books of the Bible meet and end. Here is the complement of the book
of Daniel. One is a prophecy, the other a revelation. The book that was
sealed is not the Revelation, but that portion of the prophecy of Daniel
relating to the last days." Acts of the Apostles 585
This book is for children's lips to proclaim
and for the common people to understand "without the use of a dictionary",
and also for the clergy who are seasoned veterans standing in the pulpit
year after year presenting only the message of their seminary teachers,
which in some ways are absent of plain Bible instruction.
The desire of this book is to be obedient to
the instruction that says; "The language of the Bible should be
explained according to its obvious meaning, unless a symbol or figure is
employed." Great Controversy 599. The book of Revelation
has
many symbols which the Bible always explains to the reader who lays aside
preconceived ideas, trusting in the one who said "If any man will
do His will, he shall know of the doctrine". John
7:17.
It was necessary for John the revelator
to write in symbols. First, he was just being obedient to the Holy Spirit
who is the real author. Secondly, with him being a prisoner
it was absolutely necessary with the enemy reading his mail and him feeling
the burden to get his message back to Gods people on the main land. He
knew from reading Daniel the prophet, that the wise would understand, and
none of the wicked would. See Daniel 12:10. The same thing
applies down here in 1998 "...the wise shall understand."
You, dear reader can be in that group, no matter who you are.

"CHRIST'S MANNER OF TEACHING WAS BEAUTIFUL
AND ATTRACTIVE, AND IT WAS EVER CHARACTERIZED BY SIMPLICITY. HE UNFOLDED
THE MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN THROUGH THE USE OF FIGURES AND
SYMBOLS WITH WHICH HIS HEARERS WERE FAMILIAR; AND THE COMMON PEOPLE HEARD
HIM GLADLY, FOR THEY COULD COMPREHEND HIS WORDS. THERE WERE NO HIGH-SOUNDING
WORDS USED, TO UNDERSTAND WHICH IT WAS NECESSARY TO CONSULT A DICTIONARY."
